MONTANA HOUSE
The Montana house is located in a transitional neighborhood downtown. The quiet exterior of the house gives way to an interior courtyard.
At the heart of this house, the courtyard provides a private and lush environment for indoor-outdoor living and entertaining.

TIERRA DE PAZ
2,300 SF Rural Residence • Under Construction
Contractor: Long House Builders
As a “forever” home for a young family, this right-sized home reflects the client’s lifestyle and love of their unique site next to the Mission Reach. The concept for Tierra de Paz is an inverted courtyard. The large family gathering areas are united under one roof, with daylighting and strong connections to the outdoors in four directions. Private wings extend from there, framing distinct views and patios as extensions of the main living space. Wood, lime-based plaster and scored concrete define the public and private spaces within the home. This restrained palette emphasizes texture and form, and the ever-changing daylight and views. Hand-made ceramic sconces trace the plaster walls, guiding you outdoors.
