MONTANA HOUSE
The Montana house is located in a transitional neighborhood downtown. The quiet exterior of the house gives way to an interior courtyard.
At the heart of this house, the courtyard provides a private and lush environment for indoor-outdoor living and entertaining.

Design Architect: Cotton Estes Architect
Architect of Record: Assets & Architects
Boston Commons supports diversity and socio-economic mobility by providing affordable housing and a third space for building community in the urban core.
The Commons is located within a traditionally under-served neighborhood within a city that faces a housing crisis. At a national scale, wealth disparity, political division and pandemic has left communities more disconnected than ever. Boston Commons contributes to a more resilient city by promoting diversity and equity. The design encourages human connectedness, civic engagement, and a sense of belonging through equitable distribution of private and public outdoor spaces and shared amenities. Embanked parking preserves the heart of the site as a landscaped pedestrian zone.
"I believe this where we have to go as a country in terms of creating affordable housing and communities..."
